Christmas is coming - part 1

After starting the morning with bacon butties, we had a lot of fun building a stable, decorating glittery stars, making edible angels and doing handprint mangers.  We finished with the Godly Play Chistmas story.  It was a lot of fun!

Messy Christmas!

It's Messy Christmas on Sunday 17th December at St. Michaels Church in Stockton when we will be thinking about Joseph and his role in the greatest story ever told.  We will start with bacon butties for breakfast at 10.30am then have lots of different crafts and finish with a story and song by 12noon.  Please join us if you can.

Remembrance Day at Stoctkon

After meeting at the new memorial stone in Jubilee Fields to say a pray and lay a wreath, the congregation was led by the flag parties of the Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and Brownies for our annual service of Remembrance in Church.  The poppies around the porch, made by the ladies of our Knit & Natter group, were much admired.

Create & Play

"Create & Play" happens every Tuesday morning from 9.30 to 11.00am in Stockton Church for toddlers and babies for creative play!

Our clergy team is complete!

On Monday 21st August, we welcomed Rev. Celia Parkes to our ministry team as our Associate Minister, along with Rev. Gillian Roberts, Priest-in-Charge, and Rev. Carol Newborn, Associate Minister.  See my letter for more details.

Messy Church summer special

We had a lovely Messy Church summer special when the seaside came to Stockton.  We thought about the story of Jesus feeding the 5000 - decorated fish biscuits, weaved baskets and made bread.  Then finished the morning with a picnic in the sunshine.
