It is still happening, but in STOCKTON Church (same time - 6pm + cake beforehand).  It will be a more reflective evening with some Taize music and a focus on the Lord's Prayer.I hope you can join us

Pilgrimage Walk Stockton-Napton

Setting off
Strolling along the canal
We made it!!

On 7th May, a beautiful sunny Saturday morning a group of us set off with Bishop Christopher joining him on day 2 of  the Bishop's Pilgrimage walk around the Coventry Diocese. Setting off from St Michael's in Stockton, we walked along footpaths, road and canal, finishing off with a short climb to St Lawrence's, Napton where we were greeted with delicious cake and tea/coffee.

Beaver Take-over at Stockton Church

Last weekend, Stockton Church was taken over by Beavers - from 1st Stockton Scout Group - for a sleepover!  After spending the day at the Snowdome, sledging and having a snowball fight, they arrived in church and set up camp.

After pizza, they had a visit from Father Christmas, a disco (oops, forgot to warn the neighbours!), had a trip up the tower to see how the clock works and watched Christmas movies on the big screen, before settling down for a good night's sleep.  I think the leaders appreciated the underfloor heating!
