An evening of Worship through Music, Testimony & Praise
Sat 22nd September, Stockton Church, 7:30 pm
“Bridging the Gap” is a worship group from Napton and Stockton, which is part of the Bridges Group of parishes in rural Warwickshire. The group was formed by gathering together musicians and singers from across the two parishes who have a heart for worship. They mainly provide the music for family services and the monthly In-formal service at Napton, but have also been asked to lead worship for the national “On Fire” days, Southam Deanery festival 2011 and the Archbishop of Canterbury’s visit to Stoneleigh in May 2012.
The aims of the evening are:
- for people to be encouraged wherever they may be on their own “Journey of Faith”
- for an atmosphere to be created through music and the word, where people can engage with God
- to be encouraged through the experiences and testimonies of members of the group
The music will be a mixture of hymns and worship songs as well as original songs from Bridging the Gap’s CD “We will sing your praises”.
